Kajsa Breitholtz
Breitholtz photographies are pictorial meditations on time. They indicate an ongoing change in the stillness: the pictures that allow us to study the interaction of the sea and the sky show how the same motive can fluctuate and carry different meanings. And the reverse: the shifts in nature show us how little something changes even though everything becomes different. Kajsa Breitholtz confronts us with a quiet regard. The silence is literal. Just like the classic photographer's hunt for the significant, Breitholtz has to linger patiently. But she doesn't wait for an exact moment. Rather, she waits for the moment when that question has left the body.
